So today, while acting like I am working, I am searching for the perfect organic wedding dress. My fiance and I are getting married in the redwoods this September, and I'd like to have a dress that is beautiful and elegant, not formal, but when the reception comes I can dress it up with the right pair of earrings--if you know what I mean..:o I liked your website, so I thought I'd drop you a line to see what you have to suggest...
Conscious Clothing sells gorgeous wedding dresses made from a hemp/silk blend. While the hemp is not certified organic, all hemp is grown without pesticides because it is naturally pest resistant.
Rawganique can outfit your entire wedding party in certified organic hemp wedding attire. To find it from the homepage, click on Womenswear at the top, then on Hemp Weddings in the navigation bar on the left. They also have a very simple white hemp Swan Dress that can be dressed up for a wedding gown.
If you would like to make your own wedding dress, or have a local seamstress, friend, or relative make one for you, Organic Weddings sells hemp/silk fabric suitable for wedding dresses. Or choose organic fabrics from websites in the Fabrics section of Debra's List.
